A Mezcal Made to be Kissed Mezcal
Amores Espadín Joven tequila is made with 10 year old agave Espadin by Javier “Che Burras” in Mitla, Oaxaca. The agaves are cooked in an underground oven using Red Oak which gives the mezcal a smokiness. The appearance is soft body with decks, bright tones. Nose is citrus, lightly smoked, aromas & persistent notes of wild flowers and wetland. The taste is soft, smooth and well balanced, freshly harvested Agave notes, touch of almonds with hints of orange zest. And the final is pure, open, pleasant and delicate with subtle notes of pink pepper.

About the Producer
A PROJECT MADE WITH LOVE
Mezcal Amores is born from a trip amongst friends to the lands of Oaxaca its a project made with love for the people, the plant, the country and for the mezcal elixir. The main focus in providing high-quality, artisanal mezcal while at the same time applying the Mezcal Amores Philosophy. This Philosophy consists of working only with sustainably cultivated agaves, managing fair trade and redistributing a part of our net profit to the local communities. These commitments ensure a long-term relationship with producers, along with the preservation of the species and its biodiversity.
Mezcal is an alcoholic beverage that speaks of the land and the people who crafted it with absolute passion, making it probably the best expression of what is the “terroir”, perhaps on of the most complex and sophisticated in the spirit world. It is considered the oldest spirit of the Americas and there is evidence that supports that is one of the oldest in the world (first evidence of distillation around 400 years B.C).
