Whisky d’Arche is a whisky obtained by distillation of two barley malt according to the traditional method of Scottish distilleries, aged 5 years. Maturation and finishing in the best Sauternes Barrels of Chateau d’Arche’s grand vin during 6 months.
Whisky d’Arche is usually enjoyed as an after-dinner liqueur, neat. But we also can advise to pair it with delicious oysters from Arcachon Bay.
TASTING NOTE
Light golden colour, discreet nose, some nutty notes, marzipan and ne wood, reminiscent of Japanese whisky with good nuance and nesse, fairly youthfult but yet with some complexity. Fine nuance on the palate with dried fruit, almond and nutty notes with ne wood and a smooth, long nish. Elegant style.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
The excellent Château d’Arche has been managed by the Famous Bordeaux negociant house, Mahler-Besse, since 1994. Mahler-Besse is most famous for owning the great Margaux, Château Palmer. Originally classified as a Cru Bourgeois in 1932, the château is situated in the centre of the town of Ludon.
Château d’Arche’s imprint is made of know-how, of exceptional and audacity. That’s why its whisky moves and captivates the senses like no other. Distilled and aged in Scotland. Mature and finished in Château d’Arche casks, Sauternes, France.
